“I’ve lived in NY City, DC, and Boston and I can honestly say PVD is the noisiest!! Almost every night, there are fireworks being set off, cars racing up and down Parade Street, music blaring from neighbors’ [houses], you name it. It’s ridiculous! As I write this, there are fireworks going off every minute. Where are the people [whose jobs are to] to stop this?? We don’t bother to contact our City Council person anymore, [because we get] no response. If the police do come, they just say “stop” then leave. Someone was actually having a concert in their yard until 12:00 a.m. and the police did nothing.”
