“Clubs / bars / lounges in residential areas should not be heard outside. The bass should also be at a minimum. If cops are driving by and hear it, they should say something instead of waiting until it’s reported [by a resident]. Also, I have seen some [venues] that have noise meters — start putting those in places that are not insulated well and [residents] can hear the music outside. This is very tiring, as it happens EVERY WEEKEND. I can’t wait until 2:00 a.m. to finally sleep well, without waking up [due to] how loud the bass gets. On New Year’s Eve I am pretty sure my house was vibrating from the bass.”
