Based on his responses to our mayoral candidate survey, the Noise Project recently endorsed progressive RI Rep. David Morales (D-PVD) for Providence mayor in the Democratic primary election, and he won.
What those two endorsements should make clear is that the Noise Project represents all Providence residents who seek to make our city a quieter and healthier place to live — we have no group-wide political ideology.
The sole criteria of our programs, initiatives, and election endorsements is whether we think they can be effective in reducing excessive and unhealthy noise levels throughout the city, and are in the broader public interest.
